Hearts For Heroes

Members of the El Paso Fire Department and Local 51 attended the 10th annual Hearts of Courage event on October 18, at Providence Children's Hospital. Chief Carlos Carmona and Capt. Dave Valero spoke on behalf of EPFD. Paul Thompson spoke on behalf of Local 51. The event was a huge success and included a presentation by the Fort Bliss Fire Prevention team, and concluded with the EPFD combat challenge team doing what they do best. A thank you goes out to the EPFD combat challenge team, Battalion 1 - C (including Ladder 1), Pumper 7 - C, Local-51, and everyone else that made this years event the best ever.
