    Capt.,Please pass this on;

    This week marks an exciting journey for me, as I have begun my new position.  I remember coming here full of ideas, things to do to make a difference I'll always remember the things we achieved together especially with the attempts to assist and be a buffer to help your request for each of the station needs.

    The gap in those early days between what I thought were times when bridging such gaps was difficult especially when we were facing some obstacles. There were even times when it seemed impossible and I wanted to give up. But my hopes was to prove myself to you that I would listen to you and be open and upfront when listening to you and the request needs. And I believe that I can hold my head high and have the thoughts that I have done the best I could and been able to make new friends along the way during my time in the Facilities Oversight Division.

    Now as I begin the journey with the Office of Emergency Management as a Public Safety Planner, I am forever grateful for your stimulating company and the collection of shared experiences. Though I am not in a position to assist you further with your station related issues, I will still be around to still work with you in other ways.

    Respectfully,

    Bob Bartley
