YOU and the entire community are invited to join El Paso first responders in conquering a competitive 8K or a 2-mile walk in support of local Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) athletes at the 11th annual Ruben Orozco 8K (RO8K) on Saturday, Sept. 24. The event is open to runners of all levels – beginners through advanced!
Early bird registration ends on Sept. 15
The competitive 8K will start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the fun 2-mile walk at 8:15 a.m.
The run will start and finish at the corner of N. Stanton St. and Cincinnati Ave.
Each year, the race honors the memory of Sergeant Ruben Orozco, Law Enforcement Torch Runner who was involved with SOTX for more than 13 years. Continue his legacy and promote dignity, equality and opportunity for all people.
