    Died: September 02, 2009

    Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00am Saturday, September 5, 2009 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church 3155 S. 200 W. with Father David Hasser will celebrate.There will also be one hour of visiting at the church prior to the service on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009

    Visitation: Vistation will be Friday, September 4, 2009 at Ellers Mortuary Main St. Chapel 725 S. Main St.

    David Allen Denman, CB handle “El Paso”, 65, Kokomo, died at 1:26
    a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009, in St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo.
    Born in Kokomo, on Oct. 16, 1943, he was the son of the late
    Charles C. Denman and Mary E. (McClelland) Denman. On April 21,
    1967, in El Paso, Texas, he married Carmen (Siller), and she
    survives.
    He was employed with the El Paso, Texas, Fire Department for 25
    years. He also worked as an inspector at the Chrysler casting plant
    for 13 years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving from 1965
    through 1967. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 1166. He enjoyed
    fishing and hunting with his grandson, Nicholas, bowling and talking
    on the CB radio.
    Survivors include his wife, Carmen Denman; two sons, Michael
    Wayne and wife KaLynda Denman, and John Charles Denman; one
    daughter, Melissa Ann and husband David Allen Erb; two brothers,
    John Thomas and wife Deborah Denman and Randall Wayne and
    wife Sandy Denman; two sisters, Loretta Sue and husband Bob
    Frank, and Ruthellen and husband Steven Wood; grandchildren,
    David Austin, Bethany Renae, Keisha Marie, Skylar, Ashley, Nicholas
    Mathew, Kiara Leigh, Allison Maria, Jacob Allen Kenneth, and Emily
    Sue; also, Uncle Bob and Aunt Vera McClelland, and Aunt Helen;
    and family in Mexico City, Mexico.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; also one nephew,
    Matthew Allen.
    Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joan of Arc
    Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 West, Kokomo. Father David Hasser
    will celebrate. The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at
    Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, where
    a Rosary Service is 7:30 p.m. There will also be visitation 10 to 11
    a.m. Saturday at the church.
    Memorials may be directed to the Firefighters Association for Burn
    Victims or to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, with envelopes available
    at the mortuary.
