  • Retired Deputy Chief Elton Lee Arnett

    Elton Lee Arnett passed away June 30th in El Paso after a short illness. He was born on March 1, 1928 in Corsicana, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Troy Lee and Luella Arnett. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty R. Arnett; sister in law, Joyce Duncan; brother in law, James Benedict; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Elton retired after 29 years with the City of El Paso Fire Department as Deputy Chief. He was also a 32 Degree Mason 50 years and endowed, member of the Kingsbury No. 887 Kingsbury, Texas, and a member of the Valley of El Paso Orient of Texas. His great loves were his terrier dogs Tater and Peanut and 8 cats. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast with a Funeral Service to begin at 12:00 pm. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Please visit on-line register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
