Judith Lynn McGlothlin-Castillo passed away Saturday, May 3 and is at peace with her husband Victor. Judy was born July, 21, 1952 in Elgin, Illinois. Loving the outdoors, she was an avid hiker and backpacker, enjoying the Franklin, Gila and Lincoln Mountains. As a paramedic for more than 20 years, she not only touched, but also without a doubt, saved many lives. She planned to continue her caring nature in a nursing career. She was a loyal friend to many and caring wife and mother and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. You are my rock and my best friend mom, I love you so much. She is survived by daughter, April McGlothlin of El Paso; brothers, Mike, Bob, and Bill Philippe; and father Herman Philippe of Illinois. Preceded in death by mother, Margaret; husband, Victor Castillo; son, Dale and sister, Debbie. In Iieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Fund or the Candlelighters. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast.
