    Bobby Atkinson

    Absent from body face to face with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 26, 2009. Bobby Gene Atkinson was born in Brownwood, Texas. He was preceded in death by parents, James Atkinson and Cleo Reynolds. Our family is celebrating Bobby's homecoming into heaven! He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Mary, son, James Robert Childress, daughter-in-law, Sandra, daughter, Mary Ann Gillispie, son-in-law, George, 8 wonderful grandchildren, 18 precious great and great-great grandchildren, and brother, Richard Atkinson. Bobby served in the US Airforce and later served on the El Paso Fire Department retiring as training chief. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 29, 2009 at Sunset Funeal Home-Northeast. Interment will follow to Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Please visit on-line register book at www.sunsetfuneralhomes.net
